With the support of the Alaska Afterschool Network, the YAS Positive Youth Development After-school Program (PYDAP) is working toward a sustainable program that will live on to support the future of middle schoolers in Sitka.
Information For Parents
All of our staff are trained in CPR/First Aid as well as trauma-informed intervention practices to support healthy coping and development in youth. Staff will always encourage positive communication, pro-social behaviors, and support students in being successful in a group environment. Our goal is to empower youth to artistically express themselves, share their voice, gain life skills, and collaborate as leaders.
